More Travels with Dave *g*

dave_future_predatorWe are home, had a nice few days away, in which we went to London, and Duxford, and I watched High School Musical four times, and The Bourne Identity once ;)
We walked past the gherkin, and visited the Tower of London, from where you can see Tower Bridge. Dave had fun.
We went past Pudding Lane, where there is a huge monument to the Great Fire Of London (queue too long to climb the monument).
We walked back to Liverpool Street via a street where I felt right at home :)
On Saturday we went to Duxford Imperial War Museum where Ryan felt right at home with the big guns under the Flying Fortress.
Duxford is always cool, with all the planes and tanks and stuff. There was a few people in costume, too. There was a very nice chap there who showed us his Fairbairn Sykes knife and told us all about it. This is his one, which actually is an inch shorter than it shoud be because he managed to break it when he was a teenager! Still, it was amazing to see one in the flesh.
Yes, I finally saw High School Musical and I knew I would kind of like it. The Cute! It Buuurrrnnnsss! I've had enough now though. That song is still in my head! The Bourne Identity was WAY cool though, never seen that before and must see the others. Matt Damon! *flail*
For an awful moment I thought we would have no internetz tonight, but it seems to be back. *phew* *downloads stuff*
